Where we'll be:
The 130 acres on which Hope Springs sits is sacred ground, due no doubt to both its ancient history (including its proximity to the Serpent Mound!) and the modern-day land blessing efforts of the Hope Springs staff.
You can exhale when you arrive on this precious land and allow the earth to support you as you release your burdens. Delicious, locally-sourced meals, “inspired lodging”, and soul-stirring gathering spaces – all surrounded by the natural beauty of the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in southern Ohio – this is what awaits you at this one-of-a-kind retreat.
What we'll do:
Our 4 days together will take you deep into the exploration of your inner Shaman, with classes & coursework offered on Water Stewardship, Energy Cultivation & Land Healing. There will also be open time for relaxation and integration with hiking trails, time soaking in the hot tub and walking the labyrinth. Preparation assignments & pre-retreat education will also be offered, to ensure you get the most out of your experience.
In addition, you’ll experience shamanic journeying, guided meditation and other shamanic processes to help you reconnect to what’s important to you. As the Medicine Man or Woman of your life, you will rediscover your own internal rhythms and timing, all with the support of a like-hearted community where your own process will be held, witnessed and honored. The Beauty Way of Shamanism is a practice in devotion to responsibility, awareness, and self-empowerment.
And it’s not just deep seriousness all the time! There will be optional drum circles, campfires and singing, along with late-night hot-tub soaks.This retreat is an invitation into self-care, no rules, just refining & deepening into your intuition about what’s best for you in every moment!
When we'll do it:
Wednesday March 12- Saturday March 15, 2025
You’re invited to arrive anytime after 3:00 pm on Wednesday March 12 to settle in and relax on the land. We’ll gather for dinner together on Wednesday evening at 6:30pm.
Officially we close after lunch on Saturday March 15 around 12:30pm, however there is an optional Integration Day available on Saturday that we highly recommend, if you are able to stay.
Massage therapy sessions can be booked upon request for your integration/processing day.

Your registration fee includes:

lodging in a colorful, comfortable room.
3 fabulous meals
each day, featuring fresh, local foods, mindfully prepared by a dedicated staff. Transportation to and from the retreat is not included. If you do need a driver back to the Cincinnati airport, Hope Springs Retreat Center can arrange a driver for you. Please note: Ubers are available from Cincinnati Airport to Hope Springs in Peebles, OH, but a driver will need to be arranged for you when you need to catch your return flight.

Classes include energy healing training, water restructuring & energy work with water & land. We will explore ley lines, earth grids, astrocartography and power centers on the planet. We take a private tour of Serpent Mound, hold a Water Ceremony at Mineral Springs, Fire Ceremony at Hope Springs Retreat, with optional guided ravine hike & drum circle.

YOU ARE WATER-Heal the Waters:
In this course, we will cover how to do energy healing with any water you have access to by comparing different types of water (structured & unstructured) and their energetic properties.
We will explore:
Principles of Water Stewardship, Energy Cultivation: How to effectively restructure, charge & energize any water. You will practice energy work with many different types of water to familiarize yourself with energy healing methods for bodies of water.

YOU ARE INFINITE-Heal the Body:
In this course, you will practice self-administered energy healing techniques for the activation of the embodied multi-dimensional shaman. We will cover topics such as Light Body Activation & DNA healing along with guided energy healing techniques at Serpent Mound.

Meet Your Guide
Evangeline Hemrick is a transformational author, teacher, podcaster, and holistic practitioner.
As a Reiki Master and Huna Master/Teacher since 2003, Evangeline has dedicated her life to helping others awaken their highest potential through energy work and intuitive development.
Evangeline has been taking participants “home” to themselves through shamanic journeys, ceremonies and rituals since 2008. As a medicine woman with Cherokee & Celtic lineage, her healing studies of Cherokee, Lakota traditions & Hawaiian Shamanism assisted her in breaking through cultural barriers as we usher in New Earth Multidimensional Shamans, the inclusive, transcultural shamans of the heart.
This training program has no hierarchy; we come together in ceremonial circles as equals, learning & participating in ancient/future wisdom shared.
Evangeline will tell you that one of the most important aspects of working with a shamanic practitioner is finding someone who can effectively hold space for the group in a loving, safe and supportive container. Evangeline facilitates powerful ceremonies for healing & transformation in grounded, responsible and loving energy.
With 30 years of experience, Evangeline’s career spans energy healing, licensed massage and bodywork therapy, esthetics, and intuitive wellness coaching. Her journey has taken her across the globe, studying diverse and ancient healing methods, including death doula work.
In 2008, Evangeline became a non-denominational ordained minister, and in 2021, she launched Evangeline Hemrick Ministries, a non-profit organization supporting healers in their spiritual and professional paths.

Refund Policy
This is a “rain or shine” event, considering Weather Shamanism (working in harmony with the elements) is a foundational part of the work we will do. We encourage you to feel empowered & harmonious with weather, creating your own relationships with forces of nature.
If for any reason** you need to cancel your attendance, AND WE CANNOT FILL YOUR PLACE, you will receive a refund as follows:
- at least 90 days prior: Full refund (minus deposit and processing fees)***
- at least 60 days prior: 75% refund (minus deposit and processing fees)***
- at least 30 days prior: 50% refund (minus deposit and processing fees)***
- 29 days or less prior: No refund
***Even if you have paid in full, the value of a deposit of $450 plus processing fees will be retained if we cannot fill your place. This covers the cost of your reservation that I am still obligated to pay to Hope Springs in the event of a canceled reservation.
Please note that it may not be until the time of the retreat itself when we know whether your spot was able to be filled and thus process your refund, and you may not receive that refund until the following week.

A DEPOSIT OF $450 HOLDS YOUR PLACE
Your investment is $1300 for a private room with a shared bath. This price is inclusive of all tuition as well as supplies and materials, and includes Hope Springs lodging and meals.
DOUBLE ROOMS
Your investment is $1110 per person for a shared room. Most of these rooms have an ensuite bathroom attached. Your price is inclusive of all tuition as well as supplies and materials, and includes Hope Springs lodging and meals.

Normally we all depart for home after lunch on Saturday, but you can choose to stay an extra night and depart on Sunday.

Use the extra day to rest, hike, drum, collage, soak in the hot tub, gather around the fire… whatever calls to your spirit as you allow the insights and shifts of the long weekend to settle more deeply into your being. We can book a massage session for you during your integration day, just let us know when you register!
This is a little retreat within the retreat.
Simply reach out and let Evangeline know you want an extra integration day for only an additional $160 and if you’d like a massage session to unwind on Saturday! You’ll get an extra night’s stay along with dinner on Saturday with breakfast and lunch on Sunday. Need to leave before lunch? Hope Springs can provide you with a box lunch to go.
