This is the story of my spirit retrieval experience at Serpent Mound, OH. You might also find yourself gathering your energy back from places you’ve left it.
Have you ever heard of Serpent Mound, Ohio? I just found some pieces of my energy there.
“Located on a plateau of a crater along Ohio Brush Creek in Adams County, Ohio, it’s the largest prehistoric effigy mound in the world. Resembling an uncoiling serpent, the mound is steeped in mystery and controversy.”-ancient-origins.net
As a shamanic practitioner, I’ve been facilitating shamanic spirit retrieval sessions since 2007. When you participate in a soul retrieval ceremony, you gather the pieces of yourself that have been traumatized, calling your energy back to you on a physical, mental, spiritual and emotional level. One of my teachers said, “We come to this earth walk like a piece of smashed mirror. Each piece is like a giant puzzle, reflecting the light of Great Spirit. We spend our lifetime fitting these pieces together until we have a finished mirror, a totality of being. The pieces that have been blown away through trauma in our lifetime need to be retrieved.”
Teaching effective shamanic techniques for modern life is my passion and purpose. Enjoy this article on why we need more ceremony and ritual in our lives, like I remembered from long ago at Serpent Mound. Read Why Ceremony & Ritual are So Important.
