I love teaching my Wednesday #qigongtraining class. Here’s some photos from a fun day we had back in December when my teachers @earthstar2002 made a special visit to our class!

Today is the first day I had to cancel class because my sinuses are all stuffed up, so I’m cuddling with Kona today & cleared everything off the schedule.

Feeling super grateful for so many things right now. Grateful I miss doing what I do when my energy isn’t at its normal high state to facilitate.
I love being so excited to see who I’m going to see and get to work with beautiful people that I enjoy every day-I don’t need a break from the things I love doing.

This is my wish for everyone: to carefully curate a life filled with so much excitement doing things you love each day.

I had the best dream about my #qigongstudents when I went back to sleep this morning. I dreamt that they all met in the classroom without me and just carried on with our #qigong party, because it IS a party even though we work hard & practice. ;)

In my dream, I arrived at class and they were all calling out the positions to each other as they remember them, laughing and having the best time ever. I woke up missing my weekly Qi Gong party with them.

I want everything I do to be a party, whether it’s a retreat, a Qi Gong class, a breathwork session in the salt cave, speaking at a church, whatever I’m spending precious time doing. It doesn’t matter what it is-I intend to enjoy everything I do to the fullest and that makes life worth living.

I never got to share this amazing experience because so much happened with Hurricane Helene that same weekend, but we had the honor of helping this #greathornedowl get to a rehabilitation center that crazy morning after Helene hit.

I just wanted to share the good news that the wildlife rehab specialists felt confident they could help her. Once a wild animal is surrendered up for treatment, the rehabilitation service is not allowed to give any updates.

If she made a full recovery, she would be reintroduced to her home. Maybe I’ll see her around the hood one day. 😉

Just wanted to share this extraordinary experience because I realized I never even got to say what a privilege it was to be that close to this magnificent creature & be a part of her rescue. Our neighborhood worked together as such a great team for her. 🦉

That’s exactly what’s happening here in North Carolina. I’ve witnessed strength, fortitude and the powerful love humans are capable of on a level that’s changed me and my husband forever. I didn’t see anything on our first trip to deliver donations but people showing up for each other & helping each other in a way that has cracked my heart wide open.

We were fortunate to gather with the survivors the very first time they came together to sing, hold each other close and pray. I feel like we were the ones who receded the greatest gift just to be a part of that moment with them.

The preciousness of the present moment was deeply felt. These people were in shock, still looking for loved ones who have not been found, and still they showed up for one another, lifted their voices in song and opened their hearts in prayer.

Delivering supplies to @onefocuschurch from the community of Kernersville, NC showed us what humans are capable of when we come together & transcend the darkness always attempting to divide us.

We’re not slowing down as cold weather approaches and we could really use your help. It’s going to be a very long process for these people and nothing will ever be the same.

I love teaching my Wednesday #qigongtraining class. Here’s some photos from a fun day we had back in December when my teachers @earthstar2002 made a special visit to our class!

Today is the first day I had to cancel class because my sinuses are all stuffed up, so I’m cuddling with Kona today & cleared everything off the schedule.

Feeling super grateful for so many things right now. Grateful I miss doing what I do when my energy isn’t at its normal high state to facilitate.
I love being so excited to see who I’m going to see and get to work with beautiful people that I enjoy every day-I don’t need a break from the things I love doing.

This is my wish for everyone: to carefully curate a life filled with so much excitement doing things you love each day.

I had the best dream about my #qigongstudents when I went back to sleep this morning. I dreamt that they all met in the classroom without me and just carried on with our #qigong party, because it IS a party even though we work hard & practice. ;)

In my dream, I arrived at class and they were all calling out the positions to each other as they remember them, laughing and having the best time ever. I woke up missing my weekly Qi Gong party with them.

I want everything I do to be a party, whether it’s a retreat, a Qi Gong class, a breathwork session in the salt cave, speaking at a church, whatever I’m spending precious time doing. It doesn’t matter what it is-I intend to enjoy everything I do to the fullest and that makes life worth living.

I never got to share this amazing experience because so much happened with Hurricane Helene that same weekend, but we had the honor of helping this #greathornedowl get to a rehabilitation center that crazy morning after Helene hit.

I just wanted to share the good news that the wildlife rehab specialists felt confident they could help her. Once a wild animal is surrendered up for treatment, the rehabilitation service is not allowed to give any updates.

If she made a full recovery, she would be reintroduced to her home. Maybe I’ll see her around the hood one day. 😉

Just wanted to share this extraordinary experience because I realized I never even got to say what a privilege it was to be that close to this magnificent creature & be a part of her rescue. Our neighborhood worked together as such a great team for her. 🦉

That’s exactly what’s happening here in North Carolina. I’ve witnessed strength, fortitude and the powerful love humans are capable of on a level that’s changed me and my husband forever. I didn’t see anything on our first trip to deliver donations but people showing up for each other & helping each other in a way that has cracked my heart wide open.

We were fortunate to gather with the survivors the very first time they came together to sing, hold each other close and pray. I feel like we were the ones who receded the greatest gift just to be a part of that moment with them.

The preciousness of the present moment was deeply felt. These people were in shock, still looking for loved ones who have not been found, and still they showed up for one another, lifted their voices in song and opened their hearts in prayer.

Delivering supplies to @onefocuschurch from the community of Kernersville, NC showed us what humans are capable of when we come together & transcend the darkness always attempting to divide us.

We’re not slowing down as cold weather approaches and we could really use your help. It’s going to be a very long process for these people and nothing will ever be the same.
