Thank you, #rapéh (pronounced ‘hap-peh’ in English). Grandfather Tobacco teaches me so much!

#hapeh or #rapéh is a complex blend of Amazonian medicinal plants, trees, leaves and seeds which are applied through a pipe called a #kuripé or #tepi depending if the plant medicine is self administered or served by a medicine man or medicine woman.

There are many different types of #hapé blends to work with & my cousin received a blend mixed with Putuvi, an herb that combats fatigue, and works on the #solarplexuschakra 💛 energizing the recipient and then bringing a peaceful calm after effect.

My #hapéh of choice for this ceremony was a #thirdeyeactivation like no other with a special blend that decalcifies the pineal gland. 👁️

My soul sister @feather_dearstead encouraged me to try incorporating fire with my #qigongpractice & I don’t mind showing you my first attempt that ended with me dropping the fire fans before the flames 🔥 kissed my knuckles.

I was attempting to do #phoenixspreadsitswings from my Yang Style #qigongtraining and it was just too hot to keep focused on my #breathwork #energywork and precise movements.

Since my hands were getting too hot, I tried to switch it up and go into “Wave Hands Like Clouds” pose and I ended up just throwing the fire fans down, gotta try again.

The only reason I’ve made friends with technology now is because I can embrace failure. I’ve been making mistakes and learning like crazy for the past three years. I don’t mind showing you where I fail because I always keep trying.

One day, I’ll master this combination of fire & #qigongtherapy and you’ll see me celebrating! Maybe I’ll even offer a class on #firealchemy #qigongclass & #breathworkpractice 😉 but I don’t mind showing you the struggles in the meantime cause that’s how we GROW.

Believe it or not, it also helps your body and nervous system when you SMILE while doing #qigong and it’s harder to remember to do while you’re concentrating than I would have thought!

#hapeh or #rapéh is a complex blend of Amazonian medicinal plants, trees, leaves and seeds which are applied through a pipe called a #kuripé or #tepi depending if the plant medicine is self administered or served by a medicine man or medicine woman.

There are many different types of #hapé blends to work with & my cousin received a blend mixed with Putuvi, an herb that combats fatigue, and works on the #solarplexuschakra 💛 energizing the recipient and then bringing a peaceful calm after effect.

My #hapéh of choice for this ceremony was a #thirdeyeactivation like no other with a special blend that decalcifies the pineal gland. 👁️

For many years I’ve known a time would come when I would serve this medicine and that time is now. So grateful for the sisterhood of #medicinewomen who have brought me into such a powerful lineage of healing. All good things come in their own time. ⌛️
